Collection: Tea, Coffee, and Pigment Works

These paintings are part of an ongoing series exploring ancestry, ritual, and material memory. Made with coffee grounds, tea leaves, and earth pigments, each piece is stained with the language of the land and made of the materials I grew up around.

Tea and coffee were my first entry point into natural material, they are plant guides that have connected me to soil, to ceremony, and to the long thread of home over the last 12 years. These works carry stories of migration and belonging, across continents, memory, and time.

Each piece like my natural textiles, is slow and layered, holding the warmth of something older than language.
