Custom Natural Dye Commissions (Fall 2025 Intake)

*A limited Seasonal Offering*

Bring new life to your favorite garments, textiles, or home pieces through natural plant color.

Each commission is a collaboration: you send me your natural-fiber item, and I hand-dye it using plant-based color inspired by my current seasonal palette.

How It Works

1. Choose your tier (based on item size and complexity).

2. Select your dye complexity (single or layered).

3. Ship your piece, instructions provided after purchase.

4. I dye and return it ready for its new life.

Turnaround time: approx. 3 - 4 weeks from when your piece arrives.
Orders ship mid-November through early December.

Material Guidelines:

• Natural fibers only: cotton, linen, hemp, silk, or wool

• Please wash your piece before mailing

• Synthetic blends or printed fabrics may dye unpredictably (reach out if you are unsure)

Pricing Tiers & Variants

Variant 1: Item Type / Size

• Small Items. E.g: bandanas, tea towels, lightweight tops

• Medium Items. E.g: shirts, pillowcases, table runners

• Large Items. E.g: dresses, jackets, heavier fabrics

• Bespoke / Multi-Piece. E.g: bedsheets, curtains, evening gowns, tuxedo's, fabric, multiple items or experimental work

Variant 2: Dye Complexity

• Single Color: One color from the palette

• Layered Color: Two or more colors, gradient, or pattern effects

Choose Your Colors

I currently offer 4 seasonal palettes as inspiration and a starting point:

• Earth Tones, Nudes, Browns (browns, nudes, grays)

• Warm peach neutrals + speckled pinks (peachy - light orange hues)

• Warm Bronze + Yellows (golden, sunny hues)

• Pinks, Reds + Purples (soft and vibrant fuscia/deep purple/red tones)

Please indicate your preferred palette or any custom color ideas in the “Special Instructions for Seller” notes box at checkout (Please note blue is a not part of my usual pallete, however I am open to intergrating some blue if your piece needs it. Each piece is unique, natural variation is part of the beauty)

• Express Turnaround (2-week dye + ship) +$50

Shipping

• Clients cover shipping or drop off in Rogers Park, Chicago

• International clients: please inquire for rates and timeline

Notes

• Each dye bath is unique; natural variations are part of the process

• Offering open through December 10th or until full

• Fall waitlist members receive first priority

Care Instructions

• Wash cold, gentle cycle, mild soap

• Air-dry out of direct sunlight

• Natural dyes age gracefully (colors may deepen or soften over time)
